SMK Open is the digital platform of the Statens Museum for Kunst (SMK), Denmark’s National Gallery. It provides free and open access to a vast collection of over 260,000 artworks.
The Challenge
How might we make museum collections more engaging and accessible to broader audiences?
My Role
Led user research and co-creation workshops to identify needs and prototype a feature concept for engaging with digital museum collections.
Impact
Contributed to the museum’s long-term innovation agenda by surfacing user expectations for public digital collections.
